This 1.6 million square foot, mixed-use development was a former Sears building which had remained vacant for many years. Several investors had tried unsuccessfully to redevelop the property before The Dartmouth Company secured a local buyer for the property. The Dartmouth Company then secured 260,000 square feet of retail commitments. The remainder of the space has been leased to office users. With almost 1,800 on-site parking spaces, this is one of the largest and most successful urban developments built in Boston. The Dartmouth Company secured leases with Bed Bath & Beyond, Best Buy, Staples, REI, and several other restaurants, retailers and a national movie theater.
