Scott Black, a Principal at The Dartmouth Company, has been with the company since 1992. Scott works in all facets of Retail Brokerage from Tenant Representation to Landlord Representation as well as heading up the firms Investment Division. Scott’s responsibilities also include running the suburban division of the Boston office. He has worked extensively with Lowe's Home Improvement, BJ's Wholesale Club, Whole Food Markets and Kohl's. His focus also extends to landlord representation with his leasing work for National Development, Carpenter & Company, Federal Realty, and others. Prior to joining Dartmouth, Scott worked as a broker focusing on office/industrial properties for four years. Scott graduated from the University of Denver with a B.A. in finance/marketing.
Peter Considine, Vice President has been working with the Dartmouth Company since 2004 managing relationships with national and regional retailers and institutional landlords. Peter exclusively works with retailers and landlord’s including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Capital One Bank, DDR, and The Bulfinch Companies. Peter has significant experience in land assemblage, site identification, and deal negotiation. He's particularly focused on long-term strategic planning. Peter has BA from Hamilton College and an MBA from Boston University. He's active in the Urban Land Institute, International Council of Shopping Center and is currently working with National Amusements on their dispositions work.
Ted Gildea joined The Dartmouth Company in 2004 as a tenant representative. He currently services the following tenants: Lowe’s, Walmart, Carmax, Lifetime Fitness, JoAnn’s Fabrics, TopGolf, Tesla, and Nando’s Peri-Peri. Ted has a track record of uncovering off-market opportunities for his tenants in areas that typically have high barriers to entry for retailers. Ted’s tenant requirements have taken him throughout New England and the tri-state area, allowing him to hone his expertise in these markets. Ted is a graduate of The College of the Holy Cross and holds a CIS from the University College Cork.
Ami grew up in Buffalo, NY and was always interested in the family's commercial real estate business. She moved to Boston in 1985, received her BS from Boston University and began her career at The Triad Group where she worked for 16 years specializing in tenant representation. Ami was involved in the original Circuit City roll out in New England and New York, completing 50 deals with them.
In 2004, she joined The Dartmouth Company continuing in tenant representation throughout New England. Her national tenants include: Jo-Ann Fabrics, Kay Jewelers, Pret A Manger, Flywheel, Vision Works and Famous Footwear. Ami has built close relationships with landlords and tenants the past 25 years. Recently, Ami joined the trust board of The Children's Hospital in Boston. She resides in Brookline with her husband and three children.
Jenny Hart joined The Dartmouth Company in July of 2010, focusing on tenant and landlord representation. She is actively working with tenants such as Yo!Sushi, Planet Fitness, CycleBar, Great Clips, Salons By JC, and represents landlords including Federal Realty and Hamlin Development. Jenny graduated from the University of Oregon in 2010 with a B.S. in Psychology.
Lindsey (Smookler) Sandell joined The Dartmouth Company in March of 2013, focusing on urban tenant and landlord representation. She is actively working with tenants such as DAVIDsTEA, YogaWorks, and Nando’s Peri Peri, and represents landlords including National Development and Equity Office. Prior to starting at Dartmouth, Lindsey worked on sourcing and analyzing retail investment opportunities for the acquisitions team at Acadia Realty Trust in New York. She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 2007.
Emily joined The Dartmouth Company in May 2015. Her focus is assisting broker's with both tenant and landlord representation. Currently, Emily is part of the Lowe's and CVS Surplus Properties Team. Emily is an active member of ICSC, and resides in Marblehead, Massachusetts.
