Shake Shack Opens Third Boston Location in Downtown Crossing

Shake Shack opened its newest Boston location at 322 Washington Street in Downtown Crossing. It’ll be the third Boston proper location and the sixth in Massachusetts overall. Lindsey Sandell represented the landlord in the deal.


Showcase Cinemas to Anchor Hanover Crossing Redevelopment

Showcase Cinemas will anchor Hanover Crossing, a mixed-use redevelopment located in Hanover, MA. Planned for a 2021 opening, the new location will include 1,000 seats and 10 auditoriums within the 42,500 square-foot space. Along with entertainment, lifestyle and retail tenants, the project has plans that include 297 high-end residential units, forming an amenities-rich “Live, Work, Play” destination experience. David Smookler, Peter Considine, and Ted Gildea represented the tenant in the deal. 


Dick’s Sporting Goods to Open at Cape Cod Mall

Dick’s Sporting Goods will open a 46,000-square-foot store at the Cape Cod Mall next summer. The arrival of new retailers is part of a significant redevelopment project at the nearly 50-year-old mall. Peter Considine, Scott Black, and Andrew Murmes represented Dick’s Sporting Goods in the deal.


Lululemon Re-Opens on Newbury Street with New Experiential Concept

Lululemon has debuted its new experiential space at 208 Newbury Street in Boston’s Back Bay. Not only will you be able to shop for your favorite styles of athleisure, but you’ll also get to enjoy healthy drinks and snacks as well as fitness classes and events. Sean Gildea and Lindsey Sandell represented the landlord in the deal.


Starbucks Signs on to Join Chappaqua Crossing in Northern Westchester County

Starbucks is joining northern Westchester County’s newest development, Chappaqua Crossing. The coffee retailer has signed a lease for a 2,079-square-foot free-standing space that will feature a drive-thru and is expected to open Winter 2019. Chappaqua Crossing is a 120,000-square-foot retail development offering an upscale shopping and dining experience anchored by the first Whole Foods Market in Northern Westchester and the second Life Time Athletic in Westchester County. Joe Mastromonaco, Fritz Kemerling and Peter Lyons of The Dartmouth Company handle the retail leasing for the shopping center.  


Life Time Inks Dumbo Heights Deal

Life Time has leased 77,000 square feet in Dumbo Heights at 85 Jay Street. When Life Time opens there in 2022, it will occupy multiple floors that will feature an expansive fitness center, a regulation-sized basketball court, a LifeSpa and salon, its healthy Lifecafé and its Life Time Kids Academy along with other amenities. Joe Mastromonaco and Fritz Kemerling represented Life Time in the deal as well as at One Wall Street, where the deal took first prize as the Real Estate Board of New York’s retail deal of the year.
